Ben and Jerry’s Holdings :::
Description of Project:
Ben and Jerry’s newest plant, this ice cream manufacturing facility was constructed using a negotiated Design/Build format. Plant functionality includes ice cream manufacturing, blending, freezing, storage and distribution. Mechanical systems include environmental and process maintenance, and include several ammonia refrigeration machines, spiral freezers, automated storage and retrieval equipment, and process waste treatment facilities.

Burton Snowboard :::
Description of Project:
As America’s premier manufacturer of snowboards, Burton operates its manufacturing plant
and maintains its headquarters in Burlington, VT. CTI provides system support and system
additions for both the environmental system and the process control system within the
company’s manufacturing plant in Burlington VT. Processes controlled include fiberglass
cutting, pressing, forming, painting, drying, sanding, waxing, lacquer. Environmental control
includes environmental maintenance in a Class I Div I environment.
Scope:
Process Consultation, Budgeting, Construction Management, Turnkey Installation. Calibration and Commissioning, Controls Maintenance.

Westover Air Reserve Base :::
Description of Project:
Westover Air Force Reserve base is the largest Reserve base in the nation. The site includes over 50 buildings, on 2500 acres within the communities of Ludlow and Chicopee Mass. Base Services include Operations, Security, Avionics, Airplane Maintenance and Repair, Fuel Handling and Storage, Emergency Response, Engineering, Administration, and Training including a Flight Simulation facility. CTI utilizes the base fiber optic LAN network for communication between buildings, maintained by the base IT department.
Scope:

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories :::
Description of Project:
CHSL is one of the nations premier research institutions, focusing on molecular biology, DNA research and genetics. In addition, CSHL hosts a Ph.D. program in Biology in cooperation with the State University of New York. The main site consists of over 40 buildings and a remote campus of three additional buildings. A total of 17 buildings are currently under DDC control.

Central Vermont Public Service :::
Description of Project:
CVPS constructed a facility in 1991 to measure, recycle, store and offload transformer oil laden with Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), a known carcinogen. The project’s purpose was to allow the Utility to purge its transformer inventory of contaminated oil and refill with non-hazardous oil, over a several year timeframe. The plant consists of tanker truck and transformer vacuum intake and offload area, a series of eight large storage and re-cycling tanks, a matrix of isolation valves and pumps.

Description of Project:
Hitchiner Manufacturing Co., Inc. is a privately-held company founded in 1946, headquartered in Milford, New Hampshire. It is the world's premier supplier of commercial investment castings. It leads the industry for highest unit volume production, shortest lead times, and reduced inventories. The company designed and built the first mechanized investment-casting plant using automated shell-building equipment and conveyor systems. Hitchiner introduced mechanized melting and pouring of metal and is the first investment-casting firm to use large-size, induction-melting furnaces and automated aluminum dies for wax patterns. The company produces castings in over 160 different alloys for a broad spectrum of domestic and offshore markets that include a significant portion of the automotive, golf, military, and aerospace industries.

Description of Project:
Husky Manufacturing is an industry- leading producer of automated injection molding systems for the plastics industry. Husky employs over 2500 people in three campuses – Milton VT, Bolton Ontario, and Luxembourg. The Milton VT campus resides on 700 acres and is the location of the company’s new Hot Runner facility. Plant functions include metal fabrication, water jet cutting, grinding, polishing, cleaning, assembly, wiring, and packaging. CTI controls all major environmental systems and utilities, and provides maintenance, repair and upgrade services for much of the plant’s process automation.

Vermont Air National Guard :::
Description of Project:
VTANG is home to the 158th Fighter Wing, also known as the Green Mountain Boys. This group was established in 1946 as the fifth Air Guard group in the nation. Many of the original buildings remain, though a continuous process of renovations and new construction keeps the base on track to perform its mission. The base consists of 38 buildings serving such functions as administration, munitions handling and storage, F-16 jet engine testing, medical services, cooking/dining, aircraft maintenance, civil engineering, fuel handling and storage, emergency response, and guidance systems maintenance and repair.
